GROOMING
Pet grooming is an art form at The Red Dog Inn and Resort. Professional groomers use state of the art equipment - including tables electrically adjusted to the proper height, thermostatically controlled bathing tubs, and high quality shampooing systems - to produce dazzling results. A comfortable, stabilizing harness is always used to secure your dog on the table.

Let us be the first to shower your puppy with HUGS and KISSES and to give him/her their first puppy bathe.
We will brush,bathe,cut nails and clean ears and send them home fresh,clean and happy to experience a new adventure.*Any haircut or extra services will have an additional charge.Puppies must be between 3 to 6 months old,have had all series of DHLPP vaccs,Rabies, and the Intranasal form of the Bordetella(canine cough).

Only the best hypo allergenic shampoos used along with a system that guarantees shampoos will be dispensed at correct dilution rate. Some of our high grade shampoos include Esprees, Equiss (cruelty-free and human grade), and Tropi Clean. Now offering Natures Specialties.
Stainless steel grooming tubs are specially designed for safety with no faucets or handles.
All grooming rooms are fully air conditioned and heated.
Custom-designed holding system (instead of cages or crates) keeps pets in their own space.
No tranquilizers are used. All vaccinations must be current.
No charge for last day of boarding if dog is being fully groomed on day of departure. If you request your dog to be groomed the day before departure or if you have a schedule change and pick up the pet the day after it is groomed, you will be charged that night's board.
Also available - hand scissoring, hand-stripping, teeth brushing, nail grinding, skin and coat care. Each complete grooming includes ear cleaning and nail clipping.
When you pick up your pet, our signature, brightly-colored bandanna tells you he or she has had a truly pampered experience.

We have a procedure which can help reduce the Spring and Summer shedding that we all face.
After shampooing and table force drying, which will help remove a lot of the dead hair, we then use the FURminator tool to remove more of the hair. After a few days you will see a noticeable reduction in the amount of hair shed. It's not possible to prevent the normal shedding of the dog, but the SHED-a-nator deshedding process will help keep the seasonal shedding to a minimum therefore less fur on your furniture.
